How Ameris Bank Amiptheatre Rebranded Their Video
February 8, 2019
Last year we created a product explainer video for the VIP Club experience at Alpharetta, Georgia’s premiere music venue Verizon Amphitheatre. The goal of this video production was to showcase the benefits of purchasing this experience, including an exclusive entrance, premium food & drinks, and upgraded seating options and more.
The venue was stoked with the video and our friends at Live Nation (operators of the amphitheatre) went on their merry way and began using the video to promote their VIP club. Then a few months later, Ameris Bank signed a multi-year contract with Live Nation, and the venue went from the Verizon Amphitheatre to Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.
Re-branding is fairly common, and while it comes with many complicated aspects — video production doesn’t have to one of them. When Live Nation came to us with the news, we both knew they couldn’t use the same-exact video to promote VIP sales at the newly-branded Amphitheatre.
But all was not lost! We still had the same fantastic footage from our day of production. All we had to do was change the fonts, colors, and logos used in the video- and remove any shot that included a Verizon sign. The benefit was that this solution costs a fraction of what it would’ve costed to create an entirely new video!
When we produce video for a client, we always capture far more footage than actually makes the cut. We shoot for several hours to create a 2-minute video to ensure we capture everything necessary to tell the right story. This leaves plenty of room to repurpose the content for anything from a re-branding to creating additional deliverables.
This venue is a staple in the metro-Atlanta music scene, so while saying “Ameris Bank Amphitheater” may take some getting used to, video wasn’t something the venue had to stress about. Ameris Bank Amphitheatre rebranded with video and you can too.
