Creative Treatment

Creative Discovery informs the style and tone of all scripts, music, and visuals in order to make sure that the content matches the personality of your company.

The general flow of the video. The basic structure of the story and the presentation style. Voiceover vs. Interview-driven. Callouts vs. No callouts

Lighting and Camera movement. Soft vs Dramatic. Smooth vs. Handheld. Slow Mo vs. Regular speed

The style of the soundtrack, the feel of the locations. Dramatic vs. Funny. Creative vs. Corporate

[ stage two ]

Creative Development

Creative Development is the critical stage in which we take the concept and flesh out the execution details. This is the stage when scripts are written and shot lists are created to further clarify the video content.

Once the general creative direction has been defined, it’s time to begin scriptwriting. The scripts are the lifeblood of your video content and are key to the success of your project. It’s crucial that before we move on to production that the scripts match your brand personality, speak to the right audience, fit the budget, and are polished and approved.

The audio-visual script, or ‘A/V’ in video slang, is a document that not only communicates the vision for the video content to you, the client, but it also instructs the production team and the cast on how to execute the vision on production day.

Once the A/V timeline is approved, the visual concepts will be placed into a shot list for our internal team. This shot list informs the production schedule and provides direction to the production team on the day of the shoot in order to make sure that no shots are missed or overlooked.

[ feedback loop ]

We encourage extensive feedback throughout the pre-production process to ensure the planning matches the vision before we ever show up with video equipment. Review them, digest them, share them with your friends, co-workers, and dogs to make sure they match the vision.

[ stage three ]

Production Logistics

Now that scripts are in place, the A/V has been developed, and the shotlist has been defined, it’s time to schedule the production day. Throughout logistics development, our team will make sure locations are secured, the crew and talent are in place, and the equipment is prepped and ready to go.

Once our creative is approved, we will begin searching for the perfect actors to portray the characters that are laid out in the script.

If the video content calls for external locations, we will begin seeking permits and securing all necessary locations for production day.

The call sheet combines all of the pre-production elements we’ve created in order to ensure everyone is on the same page, and that the shoot stays on task and on time.
