How Accountants One’s Brand Video is Crushing it

Who is Accountants One?

Accountants One is an Atlanta based recruiting firm specializing in staffing accounting and financial professionals. A1’s approach is unique in that they focus not only on the qualifications of their candidates, but also on providing a culture fit.

Why did they want to invest in video marketing?

Accountants One wanted a piece of content designed to generate awareness and separate them from the competition. They wanted people to know who they are, what they do, and why they are leagues above the rest.

 

Why chickens and unicorns?

In this recruitment firm brand video, A1 wanted to convey that even though they have corporate clients, they value fun and humor. They take the time to understand and carefully consider the not only the skills, but also the personality of each of their candidates when placing them in a role. Each candidate is as unique and special as a unicorn, and that’s how we ended up on Amazon buying unicorn masks! When it boils down to it, A1 takes unicorns and puts them with other unicorns- so we decided to make a video showing just that!

Our day on set

This video involved one full day of production (with actors and a location) and a half day at the A1 office. The production could not have gone more smoothly. Between scenes, Dan Erling, the CEO of Accountants One, felt comfortable leaving because we “had absolutely nailed the vision,” even after seeing two-thirds of our team in chicken masks.

 

The Result

This brand video is currently being used on their website homepage and on social media. Statistically, having a video on a web page increases the chances of it showing up on a SERP (Search Engine Results Page) by 53%. In other words, search engines love video!

A1 was extremely pleased with this video and its impact on their brand. CEO Dan Erling told us “you all exceeded expectations. Please let me know if you need a reference. We look forward to more projects. Perhaps next time we will use Aliens and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.”
