We’ve put together some examples of our work for you to explain the differences in pricing per project. And if you make it to the end, there’s some FREE assets we’re offering to you as a first time client:
Accountants One wanted an out-of-the-box & humorous video to bring awareness to their brand clients. Pre-production took some time with this project, as we at Consume Media needed to storyboard, location scout, write a script and create a detailed shot list. We were able to shoot everything in one production day and didn’t add any graphics or animation (outside of the logo). For this one- we had some hard costs, including hiring actors, a voiceover artist, and renting a location for a day.
Full pre-production services, 1 production day, standard editing + hard costs are why this video came out to around $9,500 (including $2,500 of hard costs)
Georgia Farm Bureau
This Super Bowl Commercial we produced for Georgia Farm Bureau actually won Best Farm Ad in America from the American Farm Bureau Federation! Admittedly that’s not an award we set out to win when we started Consume Media, but nonetheless, we’re very proud of this video.
No actors were required for this shoot. However, we did need 2 production days plus budgeting for travel time (the farm we shot at was about a 4-hour drive away). We also hired another voiceover artist. At the beginning of the project- we had planned to deliver a 60s & a 30s video for $11,500. By the end of the project, the client was excited to add on $2,000 of campaign optimization tools (which I’ll talk more about what those are below).
Sola wanted a video campaign specifically designed to attract & engage new potential franchisees.
This project involved a decent amount of planning in pre-production including location scouting for multiple locations, interview scripting, shot lists, along with coordinating a jam-packed, four-day trip to San Diego.
We budgeted a lot of time in post-production to custom-designed graphic callouts and animations, all factored into the cost. Along with the two-minute overview, we delivered a variety of digital ads, along with a 6-minute explainer designed for conversion.
But we also packaged in additional assets (we call them campaign optimization tools) that included Stills, Gifs, and Optimization Tools. Everything included (minus travel costs) the full package of the long-form video and campaign optimization tools came out to roughly $20,000.
And here’s an example of one of the Social Ads we created for Sola. While we preach about our quality a lot, we know that different content is needed for different platforms. That’s why at Consume Media, we provide campaign optimization tools in the form of Stills, Gifs, and Short Videos all cut from the long-form video to use across your website, emails, and social media channels.
At Consume Media, we’re not just a video production company; we’re a Video Marketing Agency! That means we understand the importance of Branding, Messaging, and arming our clients with a Video Marketing Strategy designed to achieve their business goals. Campaign optimization tools are a big part of that strategy!
These extra deliverables are one way we are able to stretch our clients’ budgets to ensure they’re getting the most out of every video. For your first project with us, we’re actually going to provide some of these assets upfront for FREE! That way you have an opportunity to see how valuable they are and can ask us for more if you need it. We’ll provide 5 Stills, 3 Gifs, and 1 Short Form video to get you started, and if you’re looking for more our clients typically spend in the range of $500-$2,500 depending on their needs.
